 The last day of October is marked as significant date in the goldsmith events calendar of 2005 year, because at this very day at the BIELAK GALLERY in Krakow has opened the exhibition of works by Bogumil Bytomski, which exhibition is very different to all previous exhibitions exposed at this gallery.
Viewers went down to very dark that evening interior of the gallery. The gallery, as we remember, is situated in medieval cellar at the Krakow Old Town distric by Slawkowska street. There were no pieces in showcases. In medieval wall's niches, normally occupied by showcases, were standing objects of XXIst century - computer monitors. At the screens there was going on the show of jewellery, which doesn't exist in reality. It exists in virtual reality only, to adorn virtual heroes. Lara Croft would have wide choice. One of viewers expressed opinion, that, perhaps, these virtual pieces could be used also by us, people, but after after we would get rid of our material body, and transform into higher, non material form of existance.
The author has presented rings and brooches of non executable forms, stones of impossible to be done cuts. All pieces have been existing in the fourth dimension - the dimension of time. Spheres and levels were infiltrating and pervading, changing proportions and colors, forms have been changing in cycles, disappearing in order to appear again. But we could not touch these forms, take them into hand, we could not adorn with them our persons... not yet.
At photos we can see just some immobile graphics images from the exhibition. They present in no way the matter, essence of Bogumil concept because they are not showing motion.
