On May 12th 2005 at the Muzeum of Applied Art in Belgrade opened the exhibition of works by Joachim Sokolski titled "PRZED i PO" - "BEFORE- AFTER"
 The Muzeum of Applied Art of Belgrade after more then thirty years has invited Zanek Sokolski to organize his exhibition there. This is the very place - as the artist reminds - where once he has opened his first large individual exhibition. Today, in nostalgic return to roots there are presented the artist`s first works as well as his recent creations. As stated: "Before and After".
The original concept of one man exhibition developed into small festival of Polish culture. Sokolski`s presentation was accompanying by artistic goldsmithing exhibition by the Legnica Gallery, by exhibition of recent Polish theatre and film posters, by show of Polish TV movies. All these events are connected with celebrations of the Polish Constitution Day of Third May, under patronage of the Embassy of Poland in Belgrade, what has given the considerable high rank to this cultural event. The exhibition was opened by His Excellency, the Ambassador of the Polish Republic in Belgrade, Tadeusz Diem.
On May 16th 2005 at the Belgrade Muzeum of Applied Art Joachim Sokolski has delivered lecture on Polish artistic jewellery in perspective of European artistic revolution of seventhies. Here we inform in advance of eventual questions, that this Sokolski exhibition will also be presented in Poland - next, 2006 year in Legnica, in Bielak gallery in Krakow, in Warszawa, maybe in other places too. We shall have a chance of viewing works and meet the artist, who, as member of the UFO group in 1975 has paid a meaningfull contribution to the shape of Polish artistic goldsmithing of the end of the XXth century.
